Grab a Local Cup of Java
Getting out of bed already poses a challenge for the typical college student whose schedule consists of late nights and early mornings. After enough consecutive nights in that routine, the struggle to lift one’s head from the pillow becomes increasingly difficult. Most days my sleepy eyes and unmotivated brain and body will only get out of bed for one of two things, chai or coffee. Usually my first stop out of bed is either my personal Keurig coffee maker, the Beacon Beanery or Dutch Brothers, some mornings though are much harder than others. On these early mornings when my soul screams for more sleep, I love to bribe myself out of bed with local coffee shops. I have accumulated a small list of five local coffee shops that have a delicious selection of teas, coffees, muffins and other breakfast or café style foods.

I hope that you get enough sleep so that these coffee shops aren’t a necessity, although as college students we know its inevitable and one day when your soul screams silently for coffee I hope you try something new. Go out and try one of these refreshing local shops, and if you do please upload your pictures or reviews below. I would love to hear about your favorite menu item, so that I can try it!
